Every evening at 7, Bhava's Drop introduces five people, each already scored out of 36 on Ashtakoota Milan, such as "28 of 36: strong", with plain-language tags like "Bhakoot 7/7: families get along".

Bhava pays desi creators per post to talk about Kundali matching

I would rather pay a hundred small, honest voices who actually use the app than one big account reading a script. Creators are the new word of mouth in our community.”
— Himanshu Batra, Founder, Bhava

WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, November 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Bhava, the Hindu matrimony app that scores every match on Ashtakoota Guna Milan before two people meet, today opened Bhava Ambassadors, a paid programme for desi creators in India and across the diaspora. Creators post about Bhava in their own voice, on their own channels, and are paid for every post Bhava approves. On top of the fee, each ambassador earns a bounty whenever a member who joined with their code buys a Bhava Plus plan. Applications are open at bhavapp.com/ambassadors.

The programme is built for creators of every size. A creator with a few hundred followers and a creator with a hundred thousand apply the same way: two minutes, their handles, a sample post, and a line on why Bhava. Smaller accounts receive a written offer within a day. Larger accounts hear from the founder himself.

"Matrimony in our community has always run on word of mouth: an aunt, a cousin, a friend who knows someone," said Himanshu Batra, founder of Bhava. "Creators are that word of mouth now. I would rather pay a hundred small, honest voices who actually use the app than one big account reading a script."

Why a creator programme, and why now

Bhava launched in 2026 as a different kind of matrimony app. Instead of an endless feed of profiles, members receive a few introductions each evening, each one already scored on the 36-point Ashtakoota Guna Milan system that Hindu families have used for generations. The app explains every koota in plain words, flags Nadi, Bhakoot and Manglik dosha with the remedies families actually talk about, and gives parents their own view of the process on the member's terms.

That kind of product does not sell itself in a thirty-second ad. It is explained best by someone the viewer already trusts, in the language the viewer already speaks, with the humour and the family pressure that every desi single recognises. A creator who has spent years talking to her followers about college, food, faith or the rishta aunties in her life can say in one Reel what a billboard cannot.

"Our members are in Pune and in New Jersey, in Bengaluru and in Toronto," Batra said. "The person who can reach them is not a media buyer. It is a creator who grew up at the same dinner table."

How Bhava Ambassadors works

Apply. The form at bhavapp.com/ambassadors takes about two minutes. Creators share their Instagram, YouTube or TikTok handles, their audience and where it lives, one sample post, and why they want to work with Bhava. Reels, Shorts, Stories, long videos and text posts all count. Bhava replies to every application.

Receive an offer. Every creator receives their own written terms: the fee per post, the deliverables for the month, the Plus bounty, and the one-page Do's and Don'ts. The offer arrives by email and sits in the creator's panel. They accept it by reading and signing the Ambassador Terms, or decline with one tap. Nothing starts until the creator says yes, and an offer that is not answered simply lapses.

Post and get paid. Ambassadors post on their own schedule within their deliverables. Each post is submitted from the panel with its link, Bhava reviews it within two working days, and approved posts are paid every Friday. Payment goes by PayPal, Wise, Xoom or Payoneer anywhere in the world, and in the United States also by Venmo, Zelle and Cash App. The required tax form, a W-9 for US persons or a W-8BEN for everyone else, is signed inside the panel, so there is no paperwork by email.

Earn the bounty. Every ambassador has a personal code and link. When a member who joined Bhava with that code buys a Plus plan, the ambassador earns a bounty on top of the post fee. One bounty per member, with no cap on how many members, and the code keeps working for as long as people use it.

What ambassadors get

A private panel. Each ambassador signs in to a panel at bhavapp.com that holds their code and link, their terms, their submitted posts and their earnings, a Messages thread straight to the founder, and the kit.

Footage of the real app. Eleven short portrait recordings of Bhava as it is today: tonight's Drop, a profile, the match moment, a chat with the phone number hidden, Your Kundali, Check a match, the Parchi story and more. Each clip comes with a caption idea. Creators cut them into a Reel and add their own voice.

A sample account. Every ambassador gets a sample member account of their own, with sample people, so they can film the real app on their own phone. They choose a woman's view or a man's view. Real members never see a sample account, and a sample account never sees real members.

Video ideas and a teleprompter. The panel offers example Reel and Story ideas in Hindi, Hinglish and English, written as starting points rather than scripts, and a place to write their own. A teleprompter mode reads the script back at a steady pace on a phone or a laptop screen.

The kit. The Bhava logo in light and dark, app screenshots at iPhone size, caption starters, hashtags, the press kit, and a short video that explains how the bounty works.

What Bhava asks in return

Honesty and a label. Every post carries #ad or #BhavaPartner and the platform's own paid-partnership tag, in line with the FTC in the United States, ASCI in India and their equivalents elsewhere. Ambassadors describe Bhava as it is. They never promise a match or a marriage, never state how many people are on the app, and never quote a price. Screenshots are used unedited. The complete Do's and Don'ts fit on one page, and every ambassador accepts them in the panel before the first post.

"The rule is simple: say what you saw," Batra said. "If a creator does not like something in the app, I want to hear it before her followers do. That feedback is worth more to me than a polished post."

Who it is for

Desi creators anywhere in the world: in India, and across the diaspora in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, the Gulf and beyond. Content about life, family, food, comedy, faith, careers, weddings or the single life all fits. The programme is not limited to creators who talk about dating or matrimony; most of Bhava's first ambassadors had never posted about a matrimony app before.

The first ambassadors joined in the last week of October 2026 from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore and Bengaluru, with audiences ranging from a few hundred followers to tens of thousands. Several began filming with the sample account and the footage kit within hours of accepting.

How the offer is set

Bhava sets terms by the size of the creator's audience and the platform, and writes them down for each creator individually. Terms are private to that creator, and are never published. A creator who would rather negotiate can decline the first offer with one tap and reply in the panel; many of the early conversations started exactly that way.

Smaller accounts, which make up most of the programme, receive their offer automatically within a day of applying. Larger accounts are read by the founder and receive a personal reply.

About Kundali matching in Bhava

Bhava's match score is the Ashtakoota Guna Milan, the eight-koota system that compares two birth charts across Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot and Nadi for a total out of 36. The app computes it from each member's birth details, kept private on the member's own phone and server record, and shows the result on every introduction before a photo is even tapped: a number, a word such as "strong", and the two or three kootas that matter most for that pair, in plain language. Nadi, Bhakoot and Manglik dosha are explained the way a family pandit would explain them, with the common remedies, rather than hidden behind a score.

Members can also check a match with anyone, inside or outside the app, from the Your Kundali tab, and share the result as a card. Ambassadors have found that single feature the easiest thing to film: the rishta an aunt keeps suggesting, checked in ten seconds.

Parchi: she writes first

In Bhava, a woman can send a Parchi, a one-line folded note, to a man before he has seen her photo. He unfolds it, answers in his own words, and only then does she decide whether to open the door. It is the app's answer to the oldest problem in online matrimony: the inbox nobody wants. Parchi is one of the three things Bhava asks ambassadors to show, because it is the one that changes how a first conversation feels.

Safety and privacy

Every member is photo-verified with a selfie check before they appear in anyone's Drop. Phone numbers stay hidden in chat until both people choose to share them. Photos sent in chat can be view-once, screenshots are blocked on Android and detected on iPhone, and either member can report, block or leave at any time. Ambassadors' own details, including payout methods and tax forms, are encrypted and are never shared with members or with other ambassadors.

Frequently asked questions

Who can apply? Any creator, anywhere, who makes content a desi audience watches. Instagram, YouTube and TikTok are the main platforms; others are considered.

Is there a minimum follower count? No. The offer scales with the audience, but the smallest accounts are welcome and are often the most effective.

How is a creator paid? Per approved post, every Friday, by PayPal, Wise, Xoom or Payoneer worldwide, and also by Venmo, Zelle or Cash App in the United States.

Is there exclusivity? None. Ambassadors may work with any other brand, including other matrimony apps, as long as Bhava is not in the same post.

Can a creator use their own footage? Yes. Ambassadors can film their own sample account, use the footage Bhava provides, or both.

How long does a partnership last? Terms are written for a month at a time. Either side can end it with a note; approved posts are always paid.
